The match ended 2-0 in favour of Hajduk Split against the holders of the competition.
Awaziem was in action for the duration of the game to help his club to their 8th Croatian Cup trophy.
Dario Melnjak opened the scoring for Hajduk Split just after the hour mark.
Marko Livaja put the icing on the cake with a 94th minute penalty.
Hajduk Split have now qualified for the Europa Conference League next season as a result of winning the Croatian Cup.
Awaziem has made 35 appearances for Hajduk Split in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and recording one assist.
The 26-year-old made his Super Eagles debut against Togo in 2017, he has gone on to earn 28 caps for Nigeria with one goal to his credit.
He was part of the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, 2019 and 2021 Africa Nations Cup tournaments.
