The Confederation of African Football (CAF) annulled Edo Queens’ 4-1 penalty shootout victory over Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the WAFU Zone B qualifying final for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Why It Was Nullified: The match ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.
Under Articles 13.1 and 72.4 of the CAF Women’s Champions League Regulations, two 15-minute periods of extra time were required before proceeding to penalties.
The match officials mistakenly bypassed extra time and sent the teams directly into a penalty shootout.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies filed a formal protest with CAF within 48 hours of the match. CAF’s Organising Committee for Women’s Football upheld the petition, ruling that the penalty shootout and its outcome have no sporting effect.
CAF rejected a complete replay of the 90 minutes because the regulation time was completed validly. Instead, the match will resume from the start of extra time with the score locked at 2-2.
The continuation will feature two 15-minute periods of extra time. If the score remains tied, a fresh penalty shootout will be conducted.
Disciplinary records, eligible players, and substitutions will remain as they were at the end of the original 90 minutes
