Manchester United have completed the signing of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta in a deal worth £72million, Sportivationng.com reports .
Hojlund follows Mason Mount and Andre Onana through the door at Old Trafford as United boss Erik ten Hag takes his summer spending spree to above £150m.
He has signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford to become the latest signing ahead of the new season.
Ten Hag had been searching for a new Striker, with French International Anthony Martial the only senior striker at the club after Wout Weghorst returned to Burnley at the end of his six-month loan spell.
The Red Devils beat the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid to land the Danish International signature.
Højlund played youth international football for Denmark from under-16 to under-21 level.
He graduated from Copenhagen’s youth academy, making his first-team debut for the club aged 17 in October 2020.
After scoring five goals in 32 appearances for Copenhagen, he joined Austrian club Sturm Graz in January 2022. Later that year, he was signed by Atalanta for €17 million.
He made his senior international debut in September 2022. During his first full season in professional football, Hojlund scored five times in 11 Europa Conference League matches.

The striker is set to miss a few weeks after sustaining injury during Pre-season training with Atlanta.
