Spanish Liga F outfit UDG Tenerife have completed the signing of Super Falcons forward Esther Okoronkwo for the 2023/24 campaign, Sportivationng.com reports.
Okoronkwo joins Tenerife after a stellar season with AS Saint-Etienne in French Division 2 Arkema, where she helped the team gain promotion to the top flight league.
Known for her goalscoring prowess and attacking abilities, the Nigeria international comes on board at Tenerife to add the team’s attacking option.

She becomes coach José Herrera’s first signing for next season and the second Nigerian after Gift Monday at the club as she takes a step forward to greater heights in her career.
“UDG Tenerife is an incredible team, with great footballers who can only make me a better player too. I like challenges and together with this team, we can achieve great things,” Okoronkwo told the club website.
“The Spanish league is one of the best leagues out there and I am very excited about this new journey, I am looking forward to joining the team and meeting my new teammates.”
Having made her debut for Nigeria in 2022 and has established herself as a regular in the team, she will be beaming with hopes to make Falcons list for this year’s Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
