Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi came off the bench to score in Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal in a 2023-24 Premier League encounter on Saturday, Sportivationng.com reports.
Awoniyi started from the bench for the visitors in his birthday as he clocks 26.

The Birthday boy scored a consolation goal for the Reds after Arsenal raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka scored for the hosts in the first half.
Awoniyi came off the bench to replace Danilo in the 71st minute.
The Super Eagles striker finished off a stunning run by fellow substitute Anthony Elanga in the 82nd minute to reduce the deficit for Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal held on to win 2-1 to ensure a perfect start to the 2023-24 Premier League season.
Awoniyi was also on target for Nottingham Forest in a 1-0 win over Arsenal last season.
Another Super Eagles player, Ola Aina was also in action for Nottingham Forest in the encounter.
Nottingham Forest will welcome Sheffield United to the City Ground next Friday, while Arsenal takes on Crystal Palace on Monday at Selhurst Park.
