Turf Season Tigers Football Club have expressed their desire to be part of the Lagos Talent Projekt showcase, which is set to be one of its kind in Lagos.
The showcase is expected to feature top football scouts from Europe to select talented, exceptional, and hardworking players, who want to fulfil their dream of playing abroad.
In an interview with the Lagos Talent Projekt media team, The founder of the team, Paschal Agonsi confirm the team’s readiness to be part of the showcase.
He said: “The reason why we started the academy was to give grassroots players the platform to expose themselves, and we know the Lagos Talent Projekt showcase will afford them the opportunity to do show their talent.
“We are proud to be part of the showcase because it is an opportunity for our players to show their talent on a bigger stage, we are happy to participate.
“It is avenue to raise the prospect of grassroot football, we are looking forward to bring in players that have the ability to change games, and that will add value to the showcase, they are very rare but we will do our best to develop them, and we know they the Lagos talent projekt will give the whole world the opportunity to see them.”
Similarly, The Captain of the team, Olu-Osayomi Feranmi, who plays as an attacking midfielder, is also looking forward to the Lagos talent projekt showcase.
He said: I can’t wait to be part of the Lagos talent project, it is an opportunity for talented players to show their talent to top scouts and agents from all over the world.
“It is going to help a lot of grassroot players, who don’t have the platform to exhibit their talent because a lot of them are not privileged to partake in such a programme. I will work hard to ensure I’m in a good condition to give my best in the showcase.”
Feranmi said his ambition is to become a top player in the future, expressing his desire to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.
He said: My role model is Cristiano Ronaldo, I am aiming to become one of the best players to come out of Nigeria, I also want to win the Ballon d’Or award, with hard work, and focus I can achieve my dreams.
Turf Season Tigers Football Club was founded in 2015 with the aim of giving young footballers a platform of exposure, to give them the opportunity to improve their game, and to help them achieve their aim of becoming a professional footballer.
The Lagos talent projekt showcase promises to be a platform for talented players to display their talents in the presence of top scouts, top agents, club directors from various European countries.
