Enyimba striker, Mujeeb Odufeso has waxed lyrical about the newly-appointed Super Eagles coach, Finidi George, Sportivationng.com reports.
Mujeeb, who enjoyed a brief but rewarding time with the former Ajax star at the People’s Elephants described him as a good leader with all the needed qualities to succeed as the coach of the Super Eagles.
“Finidi George is a very good coach, who relates with the players with calmness and intelligence, he treats every player equally and brings the best out of his players, despite spending little time with him before he was named the Super Eagles coach, I enjoyed every bit of my time with him,
He continued: “I also learned a lot from him, he demands a lot from his players and any footballer will cherish the chance to play under him, it was a privilege for me to have the opportunity to be coached by a legend of the game.”
Mujeeb is wishing Finidi George success in his new adventure and has no doubt that he will take the Super Eagles to greater heights.
“I wish him all the best in his new adventure, I know he has all the qualities to succeed as the coach of the Super Eagles and he will take the Super Eagles team to greater heights that we will all be proud of”.
Finidi George signed Mujeeb Odufeso for Enyimba in the winter mid-season transfer window.
The former Ajax star led the People’s Elephants to the NPFL title last season and he left them in a good position on the table with six games to go, Enyimba are four points adrift of table-toppers Enugu Rangers.
Finidi will take charge of his first Super Eagles match as the head coach of the team against South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on June 7, in Uyo.
