The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the rescheduling of two outstanding matches for the current season.
The affected fixtures include Plateau United versus Rivers United and Katsina United against Enyimba International.
According to a memo sent to the respective clubs by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, the match originally slated for December 25, 2023 between Plateau United and Rivers United will now take place on January 10, 2024.
Similarly, the Katsina United clash against Enyimba has been rescheduled for January 17, 2024.
The league body emphasized the importance of the concerned clubs ensuring smooth logistical preparations for these matches.
Additionally, fans can anticipate an action-packed weekend as matchday 17 fixtures are set to unfold on Saturday and Sunday at various league venues nationwide.
