In a heartening development, Luis Suarez has ended his captivating stint with Brazilian Serie A club Gremio FC, taking the opportunity to say goodbye to the club’s fans.Â
The 36-year-old player, who moved to the Porto Alegre-based team in the recent January transfer window from his childhood club Atletico Nacional, has now mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Gremio.
Facts shared by Fotmob reveal that Luis Suarez, formerly of Barcelona, played 52 games with Brazilian club Gremio. There, he scored 24 goals and gifted 12 assists under coach Renato Gaucho.Â
