Chelsea’s search for a permanent manager to replace Graham Potter has served up interesting conversations on social media with the club linked with the likes of Vincent Kompany, Mauricio Pochettino in the last few hours, Sportivationng.com reports.

Highly-rated Football Journalist, Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that the Blues and Mauricio Pochettino have resumed conversations after Julian Nagelsmann pulled out of the race.

Romano also confirmed that Luis Enrique has also been ruled out of contention for the vacant position.
Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique were the major candidates for the job few weeks ago, now they have both being ruled out leaving the likes of Vincent Kompany and Mauricio Pochettino and another unnamed candidate to battle it out.
Vincent Kompany has done an incredible job with Burnley in the Championship, guiding them to an immediate return to the Premier League with possession-based style.
According to reports, Chelsea are impressed with Pochettino.
Pochettino has impressed during at least one round of talks this time around. Sources, who have spoken anonymously to The Athletic to protect relationships, have revealed he has spoken about some of the current players he wants to remain in the squad.
