Super Falcons star, Rasheedat Ajibade has extended her hands of support to young lads and her grassroots team in her community by donating football boots, Sportivationng.com reports.
Known for her benevolence, Ajibade is reaching out to young lads as a show of support towards the actualizing of their dreams of playing football and ‘exhibiting their exceptional skills.’
The Atletico Madrid forward took to her Twitter account to reveal how she has collected boots from her past and present teammates over the course of a year.
She wrote on Twitter: “So l collected these football gears in 1 year from my past and present club teammates to support talented young lads in my community and my grassroots team who can’t afford/struggle to get gears to exhibit their potential.”
Ajibade will take to center stage with Super Falcons of Nigeria when the ninth edition of the Women’s World Cup kick off on July 20th in Australia and New Zealand.
It will be her second appearance at the women’s biggest country football competition after making her debut at the 2019 finals in France where Falcons got knocked out in the round of 16 by Germany.
Meanwhile, the girl with the Blue hair as she is fondly called finished as Atletico highest goal scorer in the 2022/23 season with ten goals.
She won 18 Atletico Madrid Player of the Match awards in 24 starts over 32 matches and added five assists in the process.
