D’Tigress of Nigeria have booked a place in the final of the 2023 FIBA women’s AfroBasket by beating hosts nation Rwanda, Sportivationng.com reports.
D’Tigress, who are the defending champions of the competition earned a 79 – 48 victory over the Rwandans to qualify for their fourth consecutive final.
Nigeria won three out of the four quarters, the first quarter ended 22 – 2, the second finished 22 – 12.
Rwanda rallied back to win the third quarter 17 – 14.
D’Tigress completed the tie in style in the fourth quarter with a 21 – 13 win.
Rena Wakama-led side will face the winner between Senegal and Mali in the final on Saturday.
