Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin on Saturday secured the maximum points against Lobi Stars of Markudi to pick their fourth home win after a goalless draw in the Match Day 10 of the Nigeria Premier Football League(NPFL) against Kano pillars.
Bendel insurance chance came in the 22nd minute when Chisom Okereke found Sarki Ismael in the box which resulted into a poor wide finish.
The match saw both teams unable to find the back of the net in a tense encounter in the first half with Bendel Insurance’s defense proving resolute.
Substitute Osaghae Junior scored the first winning goal in the 80th minute.
Insurance FC now have 17 points from 11 games to occupy fifth position on the log.
