Two of Nigeria’s foremost Football clubs, Bendel Insurance FC of Benin City and Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Saturday will re-enact their age-long rivalry when they battle each in NPFL Match Day two.
FA Cup champion Bendel Insurance’s first NPFL game of the season against champion Enyimba was postponed due to the Benin Arsenal’s engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup last weekend.
While Gbenga Ogungbote side Shooting stars football club of Ibadan side opened their campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Plateau United, at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
Insurance and Shooting stars have shared two points each in their last two meetings with same number of goals.
