Kylian Mbappe’s future is still up in the air as he approaches the last six months of his PSG contract.
Real Madrid is interested, but Mbappe hasn’t decided yet. After scoring in PSG’s recent win over Toulouse, he said, “No (I have not made a decision on my future), I’m very, very motivated for this year… After that, I haven’t made up my mind yet. I haven’t made a choice.”
Real Madrid wants to avoid past mistakes and set a deadline for Mbappe to decide about joining them this summer. Mbappe emphasized that he made an agreement with PSG’s president to protect everyone involved.
He said, “whatever my decision, we managed to protect all parties and preserve the club’s serenity for the challenges ahead, which remains the most important thing.”
Despite some past tension, communication between Mbappe and Real Madrid continues. An agreement in August 2023 kept Mbappe at PSG without extending his contract.
PSG leads Ligue 1, and as the uncertainty about Mbappe’s future lingers, Real Madrid waits for his decision before mid-January.
The football world is watching to see where Mbappe will play next.
