Ngolo Kante is set to return to action for Chelsea against Everton on Saturday in the Premier League, Sportivationng.com reports.
The French midfielder has been out injured since August after he limped off in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham.
The 31-year-old returned to full training at the start of the month, he is now finally set to make his third appearance of the season for Chelsea.
Potter has now confirmed that Kante is finally ready to return.
“N’Golo has a chance of being back in the squad,” Potter told reporters ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League game at home to struggling Everton on Saturday.
“Managers before me have spoken highly of N’Golo because he’s a top player. He has been a huge miss to us.
“It’s great for us he is back and we have to be mindful he has (had) a long injury. We have to take the steps to get him up to speed in the Premier League.”
The Blues have struggled for form and consistency in the absence of their star midfielder.
Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva are expected to miss the match due to injuries.
Chelsea have won their last three matches in all competitions including a 2-0 win over Dortmund in the Champions League to take off the pressure on Graham Potter.
