Tottenham have announced that the club has part ways with Antonio Conte by mutual consent, Sportivationng.com reports.
Conte criticised the players and the club in an extraordinary rant after the dismal 3-3 draw against Southampton penultimate weekend.
He guided Tottenham to Champions League football at the end of last season and he oversaw a positive transfer window in the summer.
The club announced that the former Chelsea manager has left the club by mutual consent on Sunday night.
Conte’s assistant Cristian Stellini will be in charge of the team until the end of the season, he will be assisted by Ryan Mason.
“We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place,” chairman Daniel Levy said.
“We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters.”
Tottenham suffered a tame Champions League exit in the hands of AC Milan and they suffered an embarrassing loss to Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
