Former Atico Football Academy star, Ganiu Malik has joined Chelsea’s U-16 team in a move that further boosts the academy’s standing as one of the best in Nigeria, Sportivationng.com reports.
Malik, who plays as a left winger is a highly-rated attacker who has enjoyed widespread praise for his unique style of play.
He is a product of the renowned Atico Football Academy, founded by Prince Atiba Adewale in 2014.
Atico Football Academy is one of the fastest growing academies in Nigeria, known for giving young players the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The Academy, which operates in Lagos, and Ibadan has different age grade categories ranging from Under 5, under 8, under 10, under 13, under 15, under 17, female Team, and the senior team.
Malik was on the books of Atico Football Academy for five years before relocating to the United Kingdom with his family, and then sealing a move to Chelsea.
Prince Atiba Adewale, the owner of Atico Football Academy, expressed his delight for Malik, while wishing him success at Chelsea in an exclusive interview with Sportivation Media.
