The team that produced Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, Synergy Ultimate Academy, is ready to participate in the Lagos talent projekt with the aim to provide another world class player.
The Lagos talent projekt showcase is targeted at giving talented players the opportunity to be discovered by top European scouts to allow them further their careers.
Synergy Ultimate Academy is based in Olusosun, Lagos where Osimhen grew up, and the Super Eagles striker started his football career with the team before going on to emerge as one of the best players to come out of Nigeria.
The team’s coach, Dare Akanbi Azeez revealed that Synergy Ultimate Academy are ready to participate in the Lagos talent projekt, expressing his desire to give the players an opportunity to shine in the presence of top scouts.
He said: We are trying to build young players that will become professional footballers like Victor Osimhen, we have talented players who have the quality to play in top European leagues. He told Lagos talent projekt media.
“I have been hearing about the Lagos talent projekt showcase, and I can’t wait to be part of it, we will like to give our players the opportunity to partake in the showcase.
“We will be parading our best players at the Lagos talent projekt, and we look forward to having our players picked at the showcase.”
Similarly, The Captain of Synergy Ultimate Academy, Oyewumi Olanrewaju is also looking forward to the Lagos talent projekt showcase.
Olanrewaju, who plays as a right winger named Vinicius Junior as his role model while expressing pride to be the captain of the team that produced Victor Osimhen.
He said: “I feel great to be the captain of a team that produced the legendary Victor Osimhen, he is an inspiration to us and we look forward to becoming even better than him he inspires me to give my best”
“I am really preparing for the Lagos talent projekt showcase because it is an opportunity for young players to show their talent to the world in the presence of scouts. Our players are going to show their qualities, discipline and good football”.
Synergy Ultimate Academy is an highly-rated Football Academy in Nigeria with an enviable feat of producing Victor Osimhen, who is a one-time winner of the prestigious African Player of the year award in 2023.
The Lagos talent projekt showcase is expected to feature top football scouts from Europe to select talented, exceptional, and hardworking players, who want to fulfil their dream of playing abroad.
Standout players will be selected, and given the opportunity to continue their development in Europe.
