The NPFL returned this weekend with a mammoth clash between Enyimba and Bendel Insurance as the pick of the bunch, Sportivationng.com reports.
The People’s Elephants hosted the Benin Arsenal in Aba on Sunday evening, the match ended 1-1.
Enyimba took the lead just before halftime through Chukwuemeka Obioma from the spot.
Imade Osehenkhoe brought Insurance back into the game with a sublime free kick with nine minutes to go.
Obioma has now scored eight goals in the league, while Imade has seven goals in 10 NPFL matches this season.
Akwa United earned a well-deserved 2-0 win over Shooting Stars to move up to second on the Group A log.
