Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has reduced his filling station’s MYCA7 petrol price to N580 from N620 per litre to help Nigerians, Sportivationng.com reports.

Musa owns a filling station in Kano, known as MYCA7 and he has announced that the station will not be selling at the general market price of N620 but at N580 per litre.

He announced on his verified Twitter handle on Monday to the excitement of Nigerians on the social media platform.

This is coming few days after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) increased petrol pump price to N617 per litre.

Nigerians took to the comment session to hail Musa for the thoughtful decision in this tough time as citizens struggle to deal with the hike in fuel price across the nation.

Ahmed Musa’s MYCA7 filling station is located at Zaria Road, U/Uku in Kano.

The 30-year-old made his Super Eagles debut as a 17-year-old against Madagascar in August 2010.

He has scored 16 goals in 108 appearances for the Super Eagles.

Musa is currently on the books of Sivasspor in the Turkish Super League.
