Remo Stars To Battle Enyimba In 2022-23 Super Six Opener

Nigeria Professional Football League powerhouse, Enyimba will slug it out with Remo Stars in the opening match of the 2022-23 NPFL Super Six Playoffs in Lagos, Sportivationng.com reports.

In the draws conducted by the Interim Management Committee on Friday the two sides will kick off the competition at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

The competition which will determine the winner of the 2022-23 Nigeria Premier League season will start on Saturday, June 3, to Sunday June 11.

The People’s Elephants will take on the Sky Blue Stars on Saturday afternoon by 2pm.

Sunshine Stars will face Rivers United at 4pm, before Bendel Insurance take on Lobi Stars for the last action of the day at 6pm.

Day 1 — June 3rd:

Enyimba vs Remo Stars – 2pm

Sunshine v Rivers United – 4pm

Bendel Insurance v Lobi Stars – 6pm.

Day 2 — June 5th:

Lobi stars vs Enyimba – 2pm

Rivers United vs Remo Stars – 4pm

Bendel Insurance vs Sunshine Stars – 6pm.

Day 3 — June 7th:

Bendel Insurance vs Enyimba – 2pm

Remo Stars vs Sunshine Stars – 4pm

Lobi stars vs Rivers United – 6pm.

Day 4 — June 9th:

Rivers United vs Bendel Insurance – 2pm

In the abridged format, Benin Insurance finished top of  Group A, followed by Remo Stars, Enyimba finished third in the abridged season.

In Group B, Defending Champions, Rivers United topped the group, Lobi Stars finished second, while Sunshine Stars occupied the third position.
