The club statement said
The MKO Abiola Sports Arena, which has hosted several high-profile football matches over the years, is expected to provide the team with a competitive atmosphere.
The change of venue also allows Remo Stars to maintain their momentum following a strong performance in the previous season, which saw them qualify for continental football.
The team’s fans have been urged to continue their support at the new venue, and the club has promised that plans are in place to ensure a seamless transition to the Abeokuta-based ground.
The Ikenne-based Remo Stars are aiming to complete the stadium upgrades by the middle of the 2025/2026 season, after which they plan to return to their traditional home ground.
Until then, they are focused on using the MKO Abiola Sports Arena to continue their push for success in the NPFL and beyond.
