Borussia Dortmund have reportedly banned the parents of teenage midfielder Jobe Bellingham from entering the club’s dressing room following a heated incident during their recent Bundesliga clash.

According to German media, the parents of the 19-year-old starlet younger brother of Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham confronted manager Edin Terzić after their son was substituted at half-time. The emotional exchange is said to have taken place in the tunnel, where the family expressed frustration at what they felt was unfair treatment of their son.

Security and club officials quickly intervened to prevent the situation from escalating further. Dortmund have since taken the decision to restrict dressing room access for Bellingham’s parents in order to maintain discipline and protect the authority of the coaching staff.

Club sources insist that Jobe remains a key part of Dortmund’s long-term plans, but also stressed that external interference in football matters would not be tolerated.

The incident has sparked debate among fans and pundits in Germany, with some arguing that the young midfielder needs more patience and game time to develop, while others believe the coaching staff’s authority must remain absolute.

Bellingham, who joined Dortmund from Sunderland last year, has shown flashes of potential but is still fighting for a regular starting spot in a competitive squad.

For now, the young midfielder will need to focus on his development on the pitch while his parents will have to watch from the stands like everyone else.
