Defending Champions Man City returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Tottenham thanks to Erling Haaland’s goal.
Everton, and Brentford played out a 1-1 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Arsenal are now 13 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race having played a game less than Arne Slot’s men.
The Reds recorded a 2-0 win over Newcastle United thanks to goals from Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister.
