Mariam Yahaya opened the scoring in the 68th minute before an own goal by Godsgift Afigbediotor in the 78th minute extended their lead. Though Ugobest Osuji pulled one back for Ibom Angels in the 84h minute, it wasn’t enough to prevent the hosts from securing all three points.

Over in Ado Ekiti, the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium played host to a commanding performance from Ekiti Queens, who claimed a two-nil win over struggling Confluence Queens.

Rashidat Salau broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, while Patience Yaro put the game beyond doubt in the 90th minute.

Also, a tense encounter at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt saw Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens play out a one-all draw.

Peace Effiong gave the hosts an early advantage in the tenth minute, but Zainab Olapade struck back in the 27th minute, ensuring both teams walked away with a point in the tightly contest.

Also Heartland Queens and Dannaz Ladies could not be separated as their match at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri ended in a goalless draw. Despite a few close calls, neither side managed to find a breakthrough.

An early blitz at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe saw Adamawa Queens dispatch Benue Queens with a 2-0 victory.

Loveth Boiygyande struck in the seventh minute, before Mary Nnenna Ossai followed up a minute later, sealing all three points for the home side.

With Edo Queens, Remo Stars Ladies, and Naija Ratels still unbeaten, the race for the top remains highly competitive.
