Osun FA Women’s League Organizing Committee Formed

Osun State Football Association has announced an organizing committee that will oversee the development and organization of the Osun FA Women’s League.

The committee has been formed to drive forward women’s football across the state, taking on responsibilities such as agreeing and implementing the strategic direction of the Osun FA Women’s League, as well as making recommendations in respect of commercial partnerships, league development, and policy.

The committee will report to the Osun FA Board.

The committee is made up of professionals making waves in their respective industries, with men and women working in football, as well as in areas including financial and media.

The variety of skills, experience, and diversity of thought that each member brings will be invaluable in supporting the Osun Football Association, which will run the league day-to-day, and together ensure the league’s competitions are progressing and developing.

Sola Fanawopo, the Chairman of Osun Football Association expressed the gratitude of the football stakeholders to the committee members.

“Osun FA appreciates your support in volunteering for this role. We acknowledge your commitment to the game. We wish you success in this endeavor. “ the FA Boss noted.

Osun FA Women’s League Organizing Committee members are:

  2. Media: OLAYINKA OLAWOLE (VICE-CHAIRMAN)
  3. Club representative: RONKE AJIBOLA (MRS)
  4. Independent: ADELEKE KABIRAT ADEBISI (MRS)
  5. Referee Association: ADEMOLA LATIFAT (MRS)
  6. FA representative: AMOO ABAYOMI (SECRETARY)
