Ten Hag Sets New Manchester United Record Against Wolves

Manchester United manager,  Erik Ten Hag has set a new record for Manchester United in the 2-0 win over Wolves, Sportivationng.com reports.

Anthony Martial and Alejandro Garnacho scored to boost the Red Devils Champions League hopes.

Ten Hag who took over the reins at  Old Trafford in the summer has become the first coach to win 38 games in all competitions for Manchester United in his debut season.

He overtakes Jose Mourinho's record of 37, which he set in the 2016-2017 season, winning the Europa League, League Cup and the Community Shield in his first season.

No other United manager has won over 30 matches during their first season, with the next best records featuring David Moyes (2013/14, 27 wins), Frank O’Farrell (1971/1972, 24 wins), Wilf McGuinness (1969/70, 23 wins) and Louis van Gaal (2014/15, 23 wins).

Ten Hag has transformed Manchester United in his first season at Old Trafford, winning the League Cup and on the verge of sealing a Champions League return.

He is on course to pull further clear with Premier League games to go, an FA Cup final against Manchester City.
