Ronaldo Confident Of Winning Titles With Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his desire to win titles with Al Nassr in the future after enduring a disappointing first season in the Saudi Pro League, Sportivationng.com reports.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr last December after leaving Manchester United following an explosive television interview where he criticized the club.

The Portuguese’s move to Saudi Arabia left many surprised that he chose to settle for a non-European club despite been linked with a number of sides in Europe which include Chelsea, Napoli, Eintracht Frankfurt and Sporting Lisbon.

In spite of the negative reactions, the 38-year-old hit the ground running impressively, scoring 14 goals in 16 games, though, Nassr fell short of the league title, losing to Al Ittihad.

Speaking to ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? media channel, Ronaldo stated he hoped he could win something this year, though, he remain confident that things will change.

“I was hoping to win something this year, but we didn't… but next year I am very positive and confident that things will change, that we will go in a better way.

“Sometimes it takes time, but if you believe and believe in your goal, I think everything is possible.

“So, let's believe that and let's work on that,” he continued.

Quizzed about his thoughts on football in Europe and Saudi Arabia, the Portugal hero added: “The league is very good, but I think we have many, many opportunities to keep growing.

“In my opinion, if they continue to do the job they want to do here for the next five years, I think the Saudi league can be one of the top five leagues in the world,” he added.
