The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned the President of the Nigeria football federal and the National sport commission chairman against the choice of Prince Okumagba as the next president general of Nigeria Supporters Club.
In a viral video, Primate Ayodele advised the federation to allow more people to contest in order to pick the best candidate.
He stated that Okumagba will lead the supporters club to death as efforts that have been carried out earlier by those incharge of the club would be rendered futile under his administration
“I want to advise NFF and NSC not to use Okumagba if not, Nigeria supporters club will die.
“I am not in support of anybody but They should work with the best candidate and it is not Okumagba. They should add other names to it”
Furthermore, He warned the NFF not to relegate the current president general, Rafiu Ladipo because he has suffered for nigeria football.
He advocated for him to become the chairman of the club’s board of trustees.
“Don’t relegate Ladipo, you can have another president general but he should be the head of BoT because he has suffered to Nigeria’s football”
