Nkateko Mangolela Opens Up On South Africa Dream, Excited To Sign CD Leganes Deal

Nkateko Mangolela has expressed his intention to represent South Africa following his impressive performances for CD Leganes, Sportivationng.com reports.

Mangolela has been turning heads at Leganes with his consistent performances which led to the club offering him a professional contract after he showed his potential at the youth team.

He plays as a creative midfielder with the ability to make things happen from nothing.

He is a modern day box to box midfielder who has impressive goals and assists to show for it.

He has continue to draw praises from coaches, fans and even his teammates after his breakthrough year at CD Leganes youth team.

Mangolela has scored 17 goals and recorded 11 assists in 15 games, a form which has earned him his first professional contract with Leganes.

He has once again reiterated his desire to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

“It has been a childhood dream to play for my beloved South Africa, I grew up watching the likes of Teko Modise, Steve Pienaar and Siphiwe Tshabalala and the legendary Benni McCarthy, I have always wanted to represent the Bafana Bafana.

“I follow the team a lot, they have just qualified for the Nations Cup which makes me happy as a South African. I am working very hard to fulfil this dream and I know with my hard work and consistency my chance will come.”

Mangolela is delighted to sign his first professional contract and he is looking forward to reward CD Leganes for their faith in him.

“I am excited to sign my first professional contract with CD Leganes, the club has been good to me, from the coaching crew to my teammates, to the fans they have all helped me to adapt and I will also continue to do my best to help the team achieve its objectives.”

Mangolela will bring creativity and and goalscoring threat to the Bafana Bafana.

Mihlali Mayambela scored the winning goal for South Africa in a 2-1 win over Liberia to seal their place at the Africa Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.
