Manchester United have agreed to sign Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig in a deal worth €76.5 million plus €8.5 million in add-ons.
The 21 year old is expected to sign a five- year contract that will keep him at old Trafford until 2030.
He is set to become United’s third major signing of the summer.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that agreement has been reached between Manchester United, and RB Leipzig.
The Red Devils fended off competition from Newcastle and other top European clubs after the striker made it clear earlier this week that his preference was Old Trafford.
Šeško scored 18 goals across all competitions last season at Leipzig. Standing 1.95m tall, he combines pace with physicality—traits that fit Rúben Amorim’s high-pressing system.
This transfer underscores United’s intent to challenge for silverware again. It also pushes their summer spending beyond £180 million.
Manchester United will kick off their Premier League campaign at home against Arsenal on August 17.
