Libyan clubside Al Hilal has signed Bayelsa United’s standout forward, Robert Christopher Mizo.

Recently crowned the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League Best Player, Mizo commits to a three and a half-year contract, extending his stay at Al Hilal until the summer of 2027.

The deal was confirmed by his agent, Gbenga Agbejoye, Director of SPOCS Nigeria, who expressed delight at finalising the transfer before the winter window closure.

“I can tell you authoritatively that Robert Mizo has been signed by Libyan clubside, Al Hilal from Bayelsa United.

“He agreed a three and a half- year contract with them that will keep him in the club till the summer of 2027.

“We at SPOCS are indeed excited about this and we are happy that we closed the deal before the end of the winter transfer window”, he said.

Mizo’s impressive goal-scoring record, including a memorable hat trick in the NPFL, propels him to this exciting overseas opportunity.

With 10 goals already this season, Mizo’s prowess continues to shine, marking a significant milestone in his career and joining the ranks of NPFL top scorers who earned international deals.
