La Liga: Asensio Leads Real Madrid Past Celta Vigo

Marco Asensio was in an inspired form to earn Real Madrid a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday, Sportivationng.com reports.

He scored one and assisted the other for EderĀ  Militao to hand Real Madrid the maximum points.

Asensio opened the scoring with a fine finish following a cut-back from Vinicius just before halftime.

He whipped in a pinpoint corner for Militao to head in the second goal in the 48th minute.

Iago Aspas missed Celta Vigo's best chance with only Courtois to beat, but the Belgian saved at full stretch.

Asensio has now scored eight goals for Real Madrid in all competitions in 2023.
