Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has won Everton’s 2022-23 players’ player of the season award, Sportivationng.com reports.
Iwobi was impressive for the Toffees in the just-concluded Premier League, which saw his club escape relegation on the final day of the season.
The former Arsenal midfielder played in a variety of positions for Everton.
He has now been voted the club’s player of the season by his teammates.
Iwobi scored two Premier League goals and recorded eight assists for Everton.
The 27-year-old is winning the award for the first time since joining the club from Arsenal in 2019.
Iwobi featured in all Everton’s 38 matches in the Premier League in the just-concluded 2022-23 season.
