The Interim Management Committee has announced a new name and logo for the Nigerian football league top-tier division, Sportivationng.com reports.
The league will now be known as the Nigeria Premier League from next season.
It would be recalled that at the beginning of the season, the IMC adopted a new name, the Nigeria Premier Football League dishing the old name, Nigeria Professional Football League.
The IMC unveiled the name and the logo at the draws for the 2022-23 Super Six playoffs draws held in Lagos on Friday.
The NPL Super Six will kickoff tomorrow with a mouth-watering clash between Remo Stars and Enyimba at 2pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
