Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze has denied transfer rumors linking in a move to Real Madrid and AC Milan, Sportivationng.com reports.
Chukwueze enjoyed his best season in Europe as he finished with 13 goals and 11 assists across 50 games with the Yellow Submarines.
The winger had a standout performance with two goals and an assist as Villarreal earned a 3-2 win over Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Since then, reports in the media space have linked the Nigerian who has a year left on his deal with the 14-time Champions League winners.
AC have been thrown in the mix with Spanish outlet ???????????????????????? ???????? claiming the Italian side are monitoring the Super Eagles star as they look to reinforce their attacking options.
Clearing the air about the rumors, Chukwueze distanced himself from it, stating they are false while pledging his loyalty to Villarreal.
“People are always going to talk. I only think about Villarreal. I don’t read what they put on social media. That doesn’t matter. What matters is the moment,” Chukwueze told ????????????????????????????.
“What if it’s a lie? What if it’s not real? I don’t know. For now, I don’t think it’s true. The only thing that is real is Villarreal.”
The 24 years old was recently celebrated after he was named the winner of the 2022/23 La Liga Santander African MVP Award.
