By Iseoluwa Raychel

Barcelona have won the 2022-23 Women’s Champions League trophy with a stunning 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg at PSV stadium in Eindhoven, Sportivationng.com reports.

Barca were two goals down at the break after Ewa Pajor and Alexandra Popp had scored to put the German team in the lead.

The Spanish champions staged a comeback in the second half and roared into the game when Patricia Guijarro hit a brace within three minutes.

Fridolina Rolfo capped Barcelona’s fightback when she struck home the match winner after a mix-up in Wolfsburg’s defense in the 70th minute.

The victory means Barcelona have now won the European title for the second time after they clinched it during the 2020-21 season.
